Pastels and metals: the sunglasses trend of the summer

This season designers are mixing things up, new materials are blended with classic ones, 
new colours and treatments on evergreen styles. In this article we are suggesting you to 
have a look at one of the coolest combinations which is the one of soft and hard. The hard 
aspect of the metal meets the softness of pastel colours giving us a pair of sunglasses 
suitable in most occasions. 

Many brands have presented this combination opposites and here are some of the most 
interesting ones.
The Dior Metal Eyes 1 has got a beautifully crafted frame with a wave motif on the arms. 
The brown/silver mirror matches the metal placket on the arm perfectly.

The Police Neymar JR 4 S8958 is a tribute to Brazil’s soccer ace Neymar Jr. This style 
has got a metal frame and both the arms as well as the lens are bicolour and divided in 
two. 
The upper part of the lenses have got a bright mirrored lens which goes perfectly with the 
upper part of the frame and arm. The part below is a bit softer and the lens is not quite that 
mirrored.

Emporio Armani has presented the Emporio Armani EA 2023 which is a quite particular 
style. The metal frame has got visible screws on the front and it seems like the lenses are 
fluctuating. The thin metal arms are decorated with the classic Emporio Armani logo.

The Gucci GG 4249/S style has got a cat-eyed shape and mirrored lenses. The smoothly 
finished frame is thicker on the upper part and almost invisible at the bottom. This fresh 
style comes in an array of colours that goes from the more classic ones of black and 
ruthenium to cyklamen and acqua green.
