Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2015 Eyewear Collection: a celebration of the 70’s

For the upcoming season Hedi Slimane, Creative Director of Saint Laurent, celebrates the Maison’s golden era, the Seventies, when Monsieur Yves changed the world of fashion for ever.

The Eyewear collection in fact reflects such mood: this explains the vintage shapes which with the appropriate restyling have now become contemporary, with a timeless allure.

Saint Laurent SL 82 is the living example of this. Inspired by the best-seller Clubmaster but more squared and with clean lines it will give a classic but sophisticated look to anyone. It is proposed in Yellow Havana/Silver, Dark Havana/Gold and Black/Silver.

Saint Laurent SL 80, is a pantoscopic frame with acetate front part, metal temples and decorative details, typical of the brand. The same shape is also proposed in a more square shape, the Saint Laurent SL 79 and both available in different interesting colours.

If acetate is what you are after then the Saint Laurent SL 76 is the one for you! Also quite masculine, square but with a very thin and “essential” frame. Or what about the Saint Laurent SL 78? It is a bit more rectangular and thicker for a strong, more convincing look.

Among the sunglasses Saint Laurent SL 81 stands out for its acetate front part with metal bridge, a true metropolitan vintage essence! Available in three different colours.

Or the Saint Laurent SL 77, with its fascinating shape and strongly touched by a retro breeze...It will always be in fashion.

Last but not least we cannot but once again mention the Must Have Saint Laurent SL 1, seen on so many celebrity noses, such as on Kim Kardashian who has chosen it on different occasions.
