Are you tough enough? Camo eyewear from Dolce & Gabbana and Italia Independent

This season, the top fashion trends are the most diverse in a long time: everything from stripes and optical prints to strong colours. However, the past two seasons another trend has made its return on the fashion scene and it seems like it’s here to stay: CAMO.
The camo print was a huge hit in the ‘90s and now it’s come back to stay. In fact, many influential fashionwriters mean that the camo print should be considered a “new natural”.

Camo print this season is not your classical military look but is often found in bright summer colours or in a more washed out look. Whatever your choice is, you will always make a statement wearing it. It is best worn as a single piece, to avoid that soldierly look and to take it into the new millennium.

If you want to make a fashion statement but still remain quite low-profile you should try out the new camo eyewear presented by several fashionbrands this season.

If you want to go for a more sophisticated and elegant camoprint try out the new styles presented by Dolce & Gabbana . The sunglasses almost look like they have been made from most precious marble and can be found both in a enormous squared style (DG 4164P) as well as in a cat-eyed one (DG 4162P).

The oftalmic frames from Dolce & Gabbana are a bit more classic. The styles offered by the brand includes the oval-shaped DG 3154 which has got the print all-over or the more moderate DG 1244 which has got rectangular lenses and the camo print is to be found on the arms.

If you want to be more avantgarde you should take a look at the Italian Independent 090T I-Thermic model. These sunglasses are in the frontline of eyewear technology since they change their colour when the temperature rises.  In fact, when the body temperature changes the frames will change colour where in direct contact with the skin.

The I-I 090T style can be found in many different colours, from the classic camo print to nuances of red or turquoise all with a black base.

What do you think of about this fashion trend? Is it here to stay or is it just a flash of the moment?
