Miu Miu eyewear: Rasoir collection

Alternative, sophisticated, femminine. Identification mark: the “cut” on the bottom of the front part that runs in an irregular way. We are talking about the Miu Miu Rasoir sunglasses, the favourite collection among celebrities. One characteristic that immeditely catches the eye is the sharp cutting on the front, as if the frames and lenses were volunteerly cut by someone.

The frames are bold, the temples high: the collection consists in four models: an optical pair

which was presented on the Miu Miu Spring-Summer 2013 catwalk; two acetate sunglasses

and a metal pair.

Mood of the Fifties though reinterpreted in a contemporary language is the main charachteristic of a brand that has always been chosen by independent women, animated by a strong will to experiment, surprise and combine elements.

These models will give to their fans a very sophisticated touch of femininity, in total respect of the brand’s main character. Their design gives an irregularity that no other pair of sunglasses will ever give, since glass itself gets very sharp when cut. The special effects here are a fact.

Irony and lightness are the key words for summer 2013: they will most certainly be the season’s best sellers, especially among those who apreciate design elements.

What do you think? Are they or are they not this summer’s must-have?
