Gucci sunglasses: James Franco and Black Bamboo

Summer is coming to an end and the major fashion houses are already launching their ad-campaigns for Fall/Winter 2013.

Gucci has teamed up with famous actor, writer and director James Franco to represent the Gucci Black Bamboo campaign. James Franco was shot in a red vintage car by famous photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. He’s wearing the the all new Black Bamboo style which is a refined evolution of the classic Bamboo version launched for Spring/Summer 2013.

The frame in dark ruthenium colour combined with the black bamboo detail and grey shaded mirrored lenses makes this 70’s inspired model a perfect representation of the fashion house’s philosophy of contemporary luxury.

With its pilot-shape, embellished with the bamboo cane detail on the bridge and the Gucci laser signature on lenses and temples these sunglasses are highly distinctive and iconic.

The Bamboo sunglasses comes in an exclusive dark brown leather case with the gold Gucci logo, the perfect packaging for this elegant and refined model.

The Black Bamboo sunglasses will be available on Otticanet from October 2013. In the meantime have a look at the spring/summer versions of this fancy style with its golden frame and brown shaded lenses that comes in two versions: the Gucci GG 4240 with bamboo details both on top of the frame as well as on the temples and the Gucci GG 2235 that has got the exclusive bamboo detail on the frame.
