Italia Independent presents itself on the field with the National Italian Rugby team, a sport that
defends important values such as loyalty, respect towards the rules and towards
one's competitors.
Having become one of the
nation’s emblems, the National rugby team has entered the heart of the
Italians. A new, rising reality that wants to make the difference, just like
the young brand Italia Independent.
By launching their first
collection of eyewear dedicated to the National team it has become an important
example of how the modern Italian brands have been approaching the world of
sports.
Italia Independent has produced a special model, inspired by its best-seller the II 090, and it will become the brand’s best-selling styles and ambassador of the
renovated National team’s merchandising.
This special edition is
conceived by the idea of customization and Tailor Made, permitting the creation
of a pair of glasses assembled from three million different combinations of the
front, the temples and the lenses, one of Italia Independent’s greatest
innovations.
It is a unique model,
characterized by a rubber treatment on the front part. Its colours recall the
ones of the Italian team, a bright blue on the front and a slightly darker
nuance on the temples, which have also been treated with the I-Thermic technology. When the sunglasses are exposed to a 26° temperature the Italian flag pops
out horizontally along the sunglasses. The lenses are light blue and mirrored.
