Ray-Ban Fall/Winter 2014/2015:eyewear collection

Ever since it first appeared in the 1930s, Ray-Ban has been a true American icon. Ray-Bans have outlasted fickle fashion trends and competitors and now they're sitting on more noses than ever. We are all acquainted with the names Wayfarer, Aviator, Clubmaster. Today they are reinterpreted in new, liteforce, trendy technologies.

Here follows the Ray-Ban history, associated to the models of the Fall/Winter 2014/2015 collection:

Aviators became a need when pilots started flying higher and higher, having to face with exposure to bright light. For the upcoming season the classic Ray-Ban Aviator Large Metal RB 3025 is once again here but proposed in a fantastic colour palette. The frames are bronze while the lenses range from purple to intense blue and all with mirror treatments.

Of course the Wayfarers met the same success and invaded the 50’s and 60’s. They were a new breath in a world dominated by metal sunglasses. Today the Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer RB 2140 is disguised in Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Denim RB 2140. Carefully crafted from 100% genuine denim they are made with a high-tech layering process that gives each pair a completely authentic, unique look.

Clubmaster, is another strictly Ray-ban word. Born in the 80’s they were actually inspired by the 50’s, with that fantastic brow-line shape of theirs. This time proposed in their prescription version, the Ray-Ban Clubmaster RX 5154. Such an intellectual fit and now available in new colour versions: matte black and horn striped grey. They represent a retro still extremely cool style.

Getting out of the schemes, the latest RX 7042 still takes us back in time, to our favourite memories of the days when the music was really good! It is a wonderful, cat-eye frame and what’s even better is that it is available in daring and very original nuances.
