The 2013 Police sunglasses collection: shapes, colours and inspirations

The 2013 Police sunglasses collection shows fresh-design sunglasses with sublime and interesting colours.
Regarding men’s sunglasses, there is a vast selection of models: they range from aviator bicolor frames, square-shaped and vintage at the same time - in their monocolor, shaded and bicolor variations- to metal rectangular enveloping frames.

The brands’ most iconic elements are combined to new design features and colour is one of the key elements of the new collection, both for the frames and the lenses. The shapes are emphasised by the use of shading, transparency and trendy pop art colours.

NAVY STYLE
The navy blue of the frame blends with the arms’ red, creating a unique shaded effect that provides style and personality. The vintage 1980s shape is presented in a slightly rounded version, while the temples are embellished by the iconic winged Police logo, in metal.

SUMMER COLOURS
This classic aviator model comes with brightly coloured shaded lenses and temples, available in orange and light blue. The front piece features slender rims in clear acetate, blending the frame’s various elements, for a self-confident man who is never afraid of revealing the more “colourful” side of his personality

ROCK SOUL
A matt effect conveys a rock soul to one of the latest top-of-the-range Police model, its personality is made even stronger and more distinctive by a modern design inspired by the 1980s. The gothic Police logo is repeated in sequence along a slim metal band, making these models even more eye-catching.

VINTAGE
This metal vintage-style model features retro shapes. The line of the front pieces, framing the models’ distinctive shaded lenses available in various hues, bring us back in time.

The 2013 Police collection leaves greater space to feminine influences, with frames that reveal a great attention to shape and colour.
Elongated cat eye shapes and thicker  frames are embellished with fashionable purples and blues and with powder pinks, maintaining a marked personality through the use of metal profiles and details.

VINTAGE STEEL
This acetate 1980-style frame comes both in ultra-glam versions with purple/melange tortoise shell and both in more classic colours such as black and white, for a contemporary 1980s look.  It interprets the Police lifestyle to perfection.

CAT WOMAN
The front piece features a metal profile along the top bar that blends with the acetate rims. The elongated cat eye design transforms this model’s wearer into a “metropolitan heroine of our day”, for a woman who never renounces his femininity, even while displaying a strong attitude.

The new Police collection has shown an increased attention to children, too, with fun, zesty models. The trendy metal and acetate frames in bright, dazzling colours draw inspiration from the urban look of their older brothers. The gothic winged "P", POLICE's iconic logo, is reinterpreted in an original key, becoming a distinguishing feature of the latest models.
